Who we are

Hey Hi AI Ltd runs this website. We're registered in England and Wales, company number 15921513, and our registered office is 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE.

We decide what happens to the information you send us, which makes us its controller under UK data protection law. Questions about this page go to hello@heyhiai.co.uk.

What we collect

  • The emails you send to hello@heyhiai.co.uk, with your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write.
  • The details any website receives when you visit. To send you a page, Amazon Web Services handles your device's IP address, the page you asked for and your browser's name, and it gives us totals, such as how many times each page was viewed. We don't keep a record of individual visits.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no scripts of any kind, so there is no tracking and no advertising.

How we use it

We use your email to reply to you and to deal with what you asked about. We won't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell your details.

Amazon Web Services uses the details of your visit to send you the page and keep the site working. We use its totals to see how often the site is visited.

The law allows both because we have a legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and in running this website.

Who handles it, and where

AMPuk runs our email. Amazon Web Services hosts this site: it keeps the site's files in London and sends each page from one of its locations in Europe, North America, Israel or Turkey, so the details of your visit may be handled outside the UK.

How long we keep it

Emails stay in our mailbox until we delete them. We don't delete them on a schedule yet. If you'd like yours deleted, ask us and we will.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or stop using it. Email hello@heyhiai.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
