Less admin. More of the work that matters.

We build software that cuts the paperwork for community organisations and small businesses. So far, that means reports for funders and the minutes of meetings.

What we build

Stride

Stride measures how people's confidence changes over a programme and puts it in a report for your funders.

  • People answer the same short questions at the start, along the way and at the end, on a tablet or laptop.
  • Staff add what they observe.
  • Reports show code words instead of names.

In testing now, with a first pilot planned for November 2026.

Stride's report for a made-up programme called Weekend Football. The headline reads: over 5 weeks, participants' confidence rose from 3.9 to 5.9 out of 10. A line chart shows confidence rising across three check-ins. Underneath are five figures: 20 participants, 19 checked in twice or more, 14 of 19 improved, confidence playing football went from 3.2 to 6.1, and the size of change was large.

Minute Taker

The Minute Taker records a meeting, writes the minutes and keeps track of every action point.

  • It runs on a Mac, and can work from a Teams transcript instead of a recording.
  • Each action point stays with its owner and project from one meeting to the next.

A working demo, not on sale yet.

Part of the Minute Taker's minutes for a made-up meeting about changing paint supplier. A short summary says three colleagues agreed to switch to a new supplier's water based paint. Below it are four action points, each with a person's name and a due date: one overdue, one in progress, one done and ticked off, and one not started. A green Approve button sits underneath.

How we work

  • A small team

Ben and Alistair run Hey Hi AI, and you deal with them directly.

  • Plain English

We say what our software does and where it uses AI. Stride uses none. The Minute Taker turns speech into text on the Mac, then sends only that text to an AI service (OpenAI or Anthropic, you choose) to write the minutes.

  • Stride keeps its data in the UK

It's stored on Amazon's servers in London. Your organisation stays in charge of its data, and Stride asks for as little about people as it can.

Who we are

  • Ben Middleton

Co-founder. Looks after the organisations we work with.

  • Alistair Leys

    Co-founder. Builds the products.
